Edouard VALTEAU in the World top 10 The world ranking list of event riders was established by the Fédération Equestre Internationale on the 31st October 2009 The young rider from Cognac, Edouard Valteau, is listed as the 28th French Horseman even though he only just turned 18. Thanks to 66 points earned with 3 horses from the Centre Equestre de Cognac- Talysker, Nuage d'Argent and Orphée de Retz - he is the first French junior rider and 7th in the world. This ranking was obtained thanks to the regular results of his horse, Nuage d'Argent, at international events. Out of 3 rankings for so many participants, 2 were classed as two stars (**) and the best junior ranking was one star (*). 2010 will see Edouard competing against other young riders, the target being the European Championship, to which Nuage d'Argent is already qualified.  |
